FASHION ART DESIGN
Doral Fashion Art Design, featuring artist Celia Ledón showing her unique fashion sculptural pieces, will be an outdoor event hosted at CityPlace Doral (8300 NW 36TH ST, Doral, FL 33166), on Thursday, June 3rd, 2021. This event will mark the official closing of the Manolo Valdés – The Legacy Exhibition and is the kick-off of the Doral Fashion Art Design Week event series, which will be happening in Doral twice a year going forward.
The event will consist of a show of lights, music, and a parade of sculptural outfits made of surprising materials and shapes. This one-of-a-kind show will take place outdoors on the roundabout at the center of CityPlace Doral and the public will be able to enjoy it from almost any place on CityPlace Doral’s stretch.
There will also be a VIP experience, with seated places along the runway, for a selected group of 200 people. You can be part of this selected group for a fully-tax-deductable donation of $50 per ticket. The schedule of the VIP Event will be as follow:

9:30 pm Meet and Greet with Celia Ledón
Celia Ledón is a prominent Cuban industrial designer and art director, internationally recognized for designing outfits with industrial materials where each work is unique and does not follow any pattern. Inspiration is instinctive and the end of a project is not known until its completion, which gives rise to a spectrum of unique, visually and conceptually challenging works.
